Timing of eBay auction
Hello all,
Just wanted to ask a question to do a little reality check on my thinking or to see if I’m „overengineering“ this:
Do you think or have you experienced that there is a „perfect“ end day (and maybe even time) for an eBay auction?
I have two auctions running currently and I mad an effort to let them end on a Sunday before noon. Why? I thought people have more time to follow the auctions, especially towards the end, to get a better result for me. But it might be as well the other way around: outdoor or other activities could lower the interest in hunting for watches.
A different example: just got a watch at a very reasonable price and the auction ended on Monday at 11am. Not a lot of last second bidding here.
Any experiences? How are you scheduling your auction if you do at all?

Sunday or Saturday afternoon always works the best in my experience. Lots of people are still sleeping at 11AM Sunday 😉
I usually set the time for around 7:00 pm on Sunday.✌🏻

I can name a few people, all in their 20s 🍻. My GF goes in full hibernation until like 1 PM on Sunday for example 😂

Wow! That's actually impressive lol I wish I could do that but even after a night of drinking I can't sleep that late even if I wanted to. Guess that's part of the joy of getting older, huh?
Sunday evening works well, EXCEPT for Super Bowl Sunday, Christmas Sunday, New Years Sunday, season finale Sunday, you get the drift. :)
