Bronze Age for watches is now….

I’m digging bronze and Ti watches.

Word though to the wise, full bronze in high humidity/sweaty situations, will turn your skin green and the watch begins to smell like a roll of pennies.

If it’s just the watch and not the band, no staining or smelly issues to report.

Also, the white dial watch isn’t patina-ing much at all so there are different grades of bronze…..also, the dial and crown on that one are not bronze, be sure you check the details. I’m disappointed.

Lets see your bronze!

Aloha,

Harvey

You’re the only other person I’ve seen on heard with the Oris on a bracelet.

I have built myself a bronze Casio AE-1200 using a Kranio design case and a Vario strap. This case was heat treated by Kranio so patina stays limited. I chose this because I like the matte gold tones of bronze waaaayyyy better than the green oxidized stinky bronze you sometimes see from people who store their watch in vinegar and boiled eggs 🤣

The CW Aquitaine in bronze is a favorite of my collection.

I love the look.

I'm planning on getting another bronze watch for my collection. I had this CW C60 Bronze for a while but other aspects of the watch made me lose interest in it. I think the next one, after a couple of others, will be a Halios if I can find one in bronze.
