Haha I understand you, but I don't think you can wear an apple watch with a nice suit. But having both a classic look and smart features is something I believe in.
I agree with you on some things you said, but today's society demands more than timepieces, I see a great opportunity for hybrid watches that both tell us the time and have smart functions that facilitate our daily work as well as our health.
I also don't really believe that hybrid watches will take over the watch industry, but I strongly believe that the number of hybrid watch users will increase. I also think the reason hybrid watches aren't that popular is because not many people know about it. But time will tell and people will become more comfortable with it.
Hybrid watches is more than a calculator, there are more functions that people can use than just looking at the time.
My opinion is different from yours. We live in 2022 and today's society is moving forward and not backward. There are people who like classic watches and then there are people who love technology and use "apple watches" then there are people (me) who love both classic and modern functions. that there is a watch that looks like a classic watch but has smart functions is something that I strongly believe will grow more and more.
