Wife is on her way to being a WIS
My wife, like most, tolerates this hobby of mine and shows some enthusiasm out of her love for me. She is amazing.
Yesterday, she got a haircut and wanted to show me the new 'do', but I immediately noticed her posing, albeit unintentionally, her watch!
This is a watch we got together for her, to celebrate her new job and our first child. While I don't know the specific reference number, it is a ladies Rolex that just happen to been made the year she was born. We went out to look at watches, and we stumbled upon it at the second store we visited. We went home empty, slept on it, and called the store the next day to let them know that we'll take it.
The Rolex is her third watch, behind an Apple Watch which she no longer wears and a Cartier tank from the 80s, which my mother used to wear and gifted to my wife just after the wedding. She has a much better collection that I do, without even trying. I'd love a Daytona at some point, but my inner-cheap-self can't justify it for myself right now.
Anyways, I am just so proud of her for posing with the watch, and in general. I'm curious if your wives/significant other shares the passion or whether they have shown any interest due to our enthusiasm. Thanks for reading.

Thought it was a good idea getting my Mrs into the hobby.... Now it's twice as expensive & I can't bluff how much mine cost.. 🤣
My wife likes watches of a sort. She thinks I’m batshit with my collection, but loves me dearly, as I love her. So it works.
I bought my wife the first watch she showed real interest in - a green OP. It’s been her only watch for 2 years and she wears sparingly. She has recently expressed interest in a Tank so I’m planning to buy that for her towards the end of this year.
Same boat. My wife's primary is an Apple watch (perfect for her right now), but she has been taking in all the info I throw out there and is keeping up quite well. I'm hoping something might catch her at some point, but we'll see.
