Watched a review of a G-Shock I already had owned for a few years... started watching more content from the Mad Watch Collector, AET, Teddy Baldasare, and Nico from Pride&Pinion.
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
I don't know the reference number. I think it was a Timex Ironman though. I was 10 years old or so. I lost that watch.
At age 22 I bought a Green Casio G-Shock, and then I kept buying.
Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?
I have a random Quartz field watch of unknown origin. I think I bought it at a CANEX when I was in the Army Reserve.
I like it. I still own it. Have never replaced the battery since I left the military.
It was with me on a LOT of excercises and taskings.
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Buy what you like. Not what others tell you to like.
I tend to keep it as classic as possible. Big garish monstrosities are not my thing... but they may be yours.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
I AM A HUGE FAN OF THE GRAND SEIKO SPRING DRIVE MOVEMENT.
I want one just for the movement itself.
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
Have not yet discovered or decided my grail watch yet.
