Seiko SKX007 with custom strap
Wearing my SKX007 today with this gorgeous custom strap I got made only for this watch - I know there are always differing views among watch lovers about wearing a dive watch with leather strap or not but frankly I love this look - Do you guys have any of your dive watches on a leather strap?

I think it looks great. I too am somewhat on the fence with leather straps going on a dive watch. I've seen some on WRUW that look just ok and some that look great.
Over the weekend I visited a gentleman who repairs clocks, etc. and he had some used leather straps. I bought a thicker brown one for my Breitling Super Ocean for $10. It definitely has a 70's vibe to the aesthetic. I'm sure it will take time for me to get used to the look.
My next post with the SO will have the leather strap.

All my vintage and out-of-production divers are on leather straps. I'm not going to take them into the water anyways, plus they look great on leather. On hot days no need to adjust the bracelet. Leather is way easier.
I had put my turtle on a nice leather strap a couple days ago and I think it’s a great look.
