What is it about watches that evoke a feeling of nostalgia - a vivid memory of times gone by? This Seiko of mine isnt vintage - Its the latest one by Seiko as a tribute to Bruce Lee - I just put a red nato on it today to fit the colors of autumn spread all across my backyard and while taking snaps of this watch on a rainy day in this beautiful autumn season I couldnt help but remember my childhood and the first time my dad had taken me along with him to a movie theatre to watch "Enter the Dragon" which became the most iconic martial arts movie of all time - That was the beginning of my love for martial arts - and now after more than 4 decades of that day, here I am; still a martial arts lover, a black belt in Taekwondo as well as someone pursuing black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, standing under the rain, remembering my two Senseis - My late father who inspired me to pursue every interest and hobby in life be it music, clothes, art, and yes watches; and the Dragon Lee for inspiring me to pursue perfection in everything I do in life - Both are long gone to the next world but an object on my wrist, this one watch was able to take me to all those memories in a split of a second like some sort of a time travel portal, making me remember the influences we have as children and how it shapes our lives - There is a reason why watches are special to us,the watch obsessed community - they are not merely time-telling objects - they are Time itself for us and we see time differently

Looks great with the red!
Love the watch and matching it with the season 🍂 and so eloquently said...it's true watches evoke very personal memories and it's one of the things in life that you can carry on forward - a legacy if you may in a small package.
