I've already been posting but hadn't got around to introducing myself. I've been collecting watches since about 2000 when I bought my first serious m...
Two watches at a time is not my thing, but then who cares what others might think? One consideration for me is that I'm really hard on my watches. I have a habit of smacking them into hard things, so I probably would be seriously shortening the life of my watches if I wore two at a time. And, yes, that's a personal problem. Therefore, I say wear your two watches with pride and don't worry about it.
Welcome! I love that Sinn watch. It's not technically a field watch - my favorite style, but it's close enough to catch my attention. I love the orange band. That really sets it apart. And it fits your slim wrist well. I'm always on the lookout for watches that would fit my 6.4" wrist. Best.
Definitely you can pull it off. It's definitely large, but if you wear it confidently like it was designed for you then you'll be golden. One suggestion: make sure you size the bracelet band correctly so the watch doesn't slide down onto your wrist and push against the tendon on the back of your hand. I have a very heavy Omega Seamaster that I wore for years with its band too large so it would regularly slide down onto my hand and I ended up with tendinitis.
Your new watch looks great. Most excellent, and wear it with pride. I have 6.5" wrists and I bought a AWG-M100SB, one of the smaller analog/digital models (steel bezel, dark grey face, and red hour & white minute hand). This watch is solar-atomic. It meets my needs and seems to visually fit my wrist (to my taste). Wish I could wear the larger watches, but anything larger than ~38-40mm case diameter just doesn't work for me. G-Force watches are a different animal and sizing is a bit harder to judge because of the silicone padding all around the case. In any case, enjoy your new watch!
Sorry for the poor photo. I was trying to take it one-handed with my iPad. Next time I'll use my phone. I assume you all recognize the watch as a Citizen Eco-Drive Garrison. The strap is from Crown & Buckle's Premium NATO line. This is my current daily go-to watch. It fits my 6.5" wrist very comfortably. I love field watches in general because they do well the basics of what any watch should do: accurately display the time while looking suitably manly (or womanly) on the wrist. My wife liked it so much, I bought her one too. Nothing manly about her except for her captaincy in the Marine Corps reserves. Ooh-rah!
