Norqain in Singapore
Was having lunch in one of the malls on Orchard Road and realized I was twenty feet from a Rolex AD. Had no desire to look at their collection. Looked around and saw Longines, Garmin and Tag AD were also there. Was tempted to check out Longines. On the way to Ion I saw Norqain, a brand I never heard on. Checked out the web site and saw this bronze beauty. They had it in stock and I got it. Had no plans to buy anything on the trip. Love everything about the watch. Singapore may be the watch Capital of the world. Level 2 of Ion had most of the highest Swiss and German brands. Happy with my impulse buy.

First watch was a 1963, second a Kudoke 2. Need to learn more about horology, specifically movements

I really like what Norquain does They are a bit under most people's radars but they make some stunning pieces. The new Wild One line up is pretty cool.
Underrated brand. They make good looking watches
Level 3 of ion has a bunch of high end independents. If you go two malls down to ngee Ann city, there is a sincere haute horology or fine watches with lots of independents too. Check those out for eye candy.
If you to further down the road across from paragon, there is Hour Glass Mal Maison which is a huge beautiful property with tons of watches.

Thanks. Going to try to head back after a few days in Batam. I knew I was in trouble when Singapore Air had ads for P.P. and other brands. Staying at MBS on return and they have lots of Watch stores also.

Oh yeah, MBS has a whole corridor of watches. Make sure you find the SHH store. It's a left and a left away from the main corridor. It's kinda near the casino. If you see bovet after the first left, you're not he right track. I think there's an IWC at the corner rwhete you need to turn.
