commented on Tudor BB58 bezel insert misalignment - sharing experience ·

Are you saying that you shouldn't expect a correctly aligned bezel on a 3k watch from Tudor? You should only expect this on a 30k Patek?

Most people don't have 30k to splash on a watch to actually get it made correctly and I certainly would expect a Tudor to be perfect when I bought it. Tudor arent making $100 mass market watches in a factory in China after all, they are part of Rolex group of companies.

Snowflake everyday. It has A huge number of special elements to it: unique Silver plates dial, Spring drive movement, Zaratsu polished titanium case and bracelet and honestly having owned both GS and Omega watches, GS level of artisan finishing is a cut above. Whatever watch pulls the heart strings should be your choice but to me the Snowflake, being an iconic GS watch is the one to go for.

I agree about Cartier their designs and brand have no appeal to me. I am also at that point that Rolex seem to going in a direction with their products that I just dont get, so I feel now that their historic stuff is way over priced for us mere mortals and the new stuff like the Sprite or the Deepsea Challenge are more about the statement on Instagram you are making, as opposed to innovating in any way.

Keep the Ranger. Everyone has a BB58.

Nice deal buddy - been looking at this myself. Seems like you got yourself a corker of a watch for a steal of a price!

If you are looking to get a first quality yet affordable diver then without doubt in my experience Helm make the best watches. You will have to find one on ebay for $400 or so but the built quality and wearable comfort is much better than most watches I have tried under a $1000. I have 3 different Helm watch models The Venuatu, The Khurraburi and The Komodo and they are all awesome watches.

I dont think anyone would notice as you are getting rid of scratches not changing the watch in anyway. Anyone who then wanted to buy the watch from you would be impressed with how clean it is I guess.
