I did a (G-Shock Mod) thing....

When I saw the new limited edition "hidden glow" watches I knew I had to have the ga2100. I mean what watch collector doesn't like a full lume dial? I missed the initial release but got lucky the last time Casio released a few. Once I had it in hand I wasn't quite sure about the dark gray. That and I just got the brown "Co-exist" GAB2100 and really loved the canvas strap. So I thought, why not switch out the bezel with a black one (for more contrast with the white dial) and get a black canvas strap (using the jaysandkays adapters) for a more utilitarian look. I kinda like it. I'm sure modifying a limited model is probably going to be polarizing but I kept all of the original parts and it would be easy to swap back. I for one really like the look. What do you all think?

Edit: First picture is original, the following picture shows the original parts beside the modded watch and the brown Co-exist model and then a couple up close pictures of the modded watch.

I think the white dial is the most complementary pair with the negative display. Love the Co-exist too with the positive display and great example of why the perfect G-Shock collection only requires 2 to 276 different entries!
