Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?
When Lorier announced their Gemini model (gen 1) back in 2019, I fell in love with the design. Specifically the panda version. They then announced they would be attending Windup Watch Fair that October. I decided to drive down to NYC for the weekend to see the watch in person. Having a conversation with Lauren and Lorenzo as well as seeing and trying on the Gemini sealed the deal for me. I ordered it at launch. Had this all happened just a few months later, it would've been impossible to have experienced this since the world was basically shut down for the next three years.
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Don't be shy to ask for advice, there's plenty of knowledgeable people around. Buy what you like without putting yourself in debt. Afterall, the watch will be on your wrist and not others'.
