Thanks for posting that article. I had no idea of this history.

It's a mod. Not 100% seiko. Seiko movement and dial. Sapphire crystal and case back. I had the white hands swapped out as the black are way more legible. That's why I referred to it as "Frankenstein" No where near the $ of the ones in that article. ✌️

I'd love to own one but currently most of the ones I like on their site are sold out. I didn't see any option to get notifications when they restock or release new ones either. Do I need to know someone? Is there a secret handshake?...
