Have you pushed your watch to the limits?

I wanted to share a very good article about a man who decided to run in the highest altitude marathon wearing is Seiko prospex land alpinist.

I like those types of stories involving watches and the people who wears them. It's not highly technical but you feel his passion for watches and the mechanics behind them.

Do you have a story where you felt you really pushed your watch to the limit?

This prospex baby alpinist line can for sure take a good beating!

I adore people that use their watches as tools, even if it isn’t pushing it to the limit, but the stories are better when they do.

Always love seeing peeps #useyourtools

Also have to say that 27mm Fuji X mount might be my absolute FAV lens ever, more so with the MkII 👌🏻🤘🏻🤙🏻.

My Mrs Hamilton khaki king auto survived a crash off the back of my Triumph 1200 ...

She got a shattered ankle & bumps and bruises, the Hamilton hit tarmac and got a bit of gravel rash but still runs fine .

Id say that's a pretty extreme test for a watch.

They're tougher than we think !!!

(Mrs still recovering from injury, accident was on 6/Sept last year.....& no it's not put her off & she's very proud of her Hammy's war wounds)

And don’t see how the author „pushed his watch to the limit“.

All the pictures in this article shows running on tarmac. I can’t think of any watch that couldn’t handle these „extremes“.

Awesome article and thought starter. Can't imagine how uncomfortable it must have been to wear a metal/leather watch on a marathon like that, espesially when it looks like he wore his Garmin on his left hand as well!
