Yes, it is practical. What I like about this one is:

1- mine is very accurate (sub 5 seconds per day);

2- when I wear it, it’s so light that I forget it’s there (60 g on this NATO-like strap) and,

3- I never worry about it when I work outside doing yard work or any type of work for that matter.

One watch that is capable to do it all with “peace of mind” on your wrist. 

Build beautifully to be dressed up but tough enough to be worn with no afterthought on a daily basis.
