Now that you've mentioned Formex, I have to add that microbrands usually offer incredible bang for the buck if you're not too hung up on the name on the dial.

I'm gonna have to go with Seiko and Hamilton.

It's absolutely baller if you ask me. I tried on a few of the chunky ones, didn't enjoy them. This one fit and I fell in love. 

This is the only one I trust to make it through the day with me with all the stuff I need to do around the house and at work. 

My DW5600. Since moving to the countryside, I've been wearing it daily. It's been with me everywhere, from chopping wood, feeding chickens and cleaning the coup, through mud, rain, you name it. I've worn a different watch maybe 5 or 6 times in the last 6 months.
