Grail watch ?

As most of us do, I’ve been thinking about that one grail watch for when money is good😉

I have a soft stop for vintage watches, a time before quartz, a time when these where the state-of-the-art.

I’ve have recently come across this blancpain triple calender that goes for around 7-8k

Has anyone and interesting experience or thought around this topic.

Got my Grail a few years ago, not regretted it at all, it's grown on me even more. Plus it's seriously slowed down buying other "lesser" watches so I honestly believe it's saved me money in the long term.

So my advice is go for it before the opportunity passes.

I cannot comment on the price of this Blancpain triple calendar watch but if I were still collecting vintage would certainly investigate further. Perhaps there is some room for negotiation on the price, Blancpain remains under appreciated just as new watches that looked like this from the same manufacture were back in the 80s when I discovered the brand that rested below Patek, AP, Brequet and VC. Blancpain was a favourite amongst guys who could not reasonably afford Pateks.
