How often do you check to see how fast/slow your watch is running?
I use Time.gov when setting time or checking accuracy. Feel free to comment on other ways you check, if it annoys you more/less/not at all when it's running slow or fast, etc.
Sorry, not sorry: I despise these steering wheel/wristwatch photos. Screams pretentiousness and if WatchCrunch turns into more of this it will be a sad outcome for an otherwise non-pretentious website.
I don't see it as impious at all. The greatest tragedy in my own lifetime was 9/11 and if I could own a timepiece from that horrific event I would cherish it as a means of honoring the Americans who needlessly died at the hands of terrorists. 🙏
I'd love to get a vintage Omega like the one you have, but I'm so nervous buying anything online. Do you mind sharing how you went about acquiring it? 🙏
commented onWhat's the real deal with watch water resistance?·
Do people with 30m water resistance luxury dress watches (Patek, JLC, etc) really take them off before washing hands? I just can't imagine they are that delicate. Can anyone with hands-on (no pun intended) experience comment on this?
