I dislike the jagged taper that comes with the faux rivets.

I think the BB58 will be discontinued and the Black Bay Pro line will expand to have options and colors that we would expect from the 58.  This will allow them to incorporate the new bracelet and clasp. Add some other features and color ways, and also make more money. 

Yes.  Especially with watches that are known to have good replicas.  
I know box and papers can be faked but it’s another layer of protection.
