Used users, beaten beaters

It’s nice seeing high quality pictures of flawless watches all day, but I just wanted to share a picture of my work watch. This watch has been strapped to my wrist every day at work for probably 3 years at this point, I’m a forklift mechanic. This thing has been soaked in hydraulic oil, covered in grease, sprayed with brake cleaner and gets constantly rubbed up against all kinds of metal components as I am reaching into the equipment I’m working on. It generally then gets scrubbed down along with my hands and wrists at the end of the day. Through it all, this remains one of the most accurate watches I have and all the functions still work perfectly, I’m even on the original strap. Anyone else have a watch or watches that you’ve really put through it’s paces?

Perfect 👌 The slimness of the watch probably protect it against some of the beating? It's been G-Shock and some Seiko divers that has gotten the worst of it on my end. Now it's this poor bastard that's up for duty if my 3-watches-done-plan works:

Not very slim unfortunately and with a protruding crystal 😅

I could only showed you the under clasps of my watches all scratched but wouldn’t even come close to rival this beauty 😉👌

Had this one since 2014 and been through the tough times and service with me since the Covid  2020 high peak season and still ticking.

Such a great beater watch, I bet if you used some polywatch, you would even Britten the crystal a little, if you wanted too of cause.

No crown, lost stem. Lost subdial and seconds hands. Mild brassing. Mineral crystal hazy as hell due to DIY polishing attempts. Had it since college, was main watch most of the time.
