Sliced numbers. Why?.... You have the full number. No room? INDICES!!! ANY SHAPE!!!! Damn you IWC Portugeiser! you were the chosen one!! I LOVED YOU like a BROTHER. . . So yeah sliced numbers.

I have a 263-67 from about 10 years ago. There is some lume but not as much as I'd like. I'm surprised that since then they haven't added a quick adjust or any made any significant improvements to the rubber strap. 
You're quite right on it being a subtle and understated. I've been to some boutiques and AD where some folks weren't too familiar. Love how your dial pops out.
