Very cool.

How long is your battery life with that? I have a seiko “hummer” and it’s only about 18 months.

Hi,I also concern with the battery life.

I pull out the crown (stop working)when I ‘m not wearing it and push it back may be once a week and let it work for 1or 2 days.

I bought from a Omega Collector years ago. So far so good!

Hi ,Omega first introduce this in the early 70s

It’s a transition period before Quartz dominate the watch industry.

I think Bulova was the first company to apply this technology for the commercial market in the 60s and come with a name Accutron (correct me if I ‘m wrong).

And the name - Hummer , come from -when you get the watch close to the ear, you can hear a low frequency humming sound and it was so romantic.

It’s simply a high school physics concept ,the cell generated currency to make the tuning fork to oscillate.

I ‘really admire this kind of idea especially it was invented 60 years ago.
