Haven't been here for a few days and missed the poll.... but happy to see, that farer won. I personally own an Ainsdale and just can say from frequently wearing it: really one of the best watches that came across.

Thank you chronoguy for the quick reply. I never bought it because of its financial value. All i wanted was a small mechanical chrono and to enjoy wearing it. So no actual loss or sadness on my side considerung the newly gained information. But very nice to know what kind of movement it is, because will have it serviced in the near future.

I bought it a few yearscago, when i was very new to the watch world - meaning i did not know anything about watches. Just found it on ebay, liked it and enjoyed it ever since. But i did not find anything compareable on the web. After getting deeper into the hobby i now think it might be a frankenstein, put together from watches maybe. So lets see what you guys know. Its quite small ( the main reason why i bought it) and has a acrylic caseback. No lume applied on the numerals and the crown looks oddly huge.
Same here... dials are much cleaner.
But basically i am to lazy to set the date, when putting on another watch from the box, that stopped running ( yes luxury Problem, that could be solved by less watches 🤣)
Great idea to celebrate 6 months with that give away.
I guess Seiko is my top favorite in value for money. But living close to Frankfurt I recently bought a Sinn at their headquarters directly and was surprised by the whole collection also. Wonderfully executed watches for less money than I expected.
