Introduction & first review
Dear fellow Crunchers,
after joining this watch-addicted community about two weeks ago I’d like to combine this watch review with a personal introduction. I’ve been a watch fan since my early teens but have never had the idea that I was building a collection. It was mere that i would buy the occasional watch and keep the old ones. Joining this great community has definitely lighted the fire and it got me to buy this Zeppelin watch as a first addittion to my collection.

This watch ticked all the boxes and I found a good deal at a Polish dealer on Chrono24.
Received the watch today and i really like the classic looks and the domed glass. In combination with the dark outer edge of the dial it looks like the dial is ‘floating’.
The quality is very good, all indices are well positioned and finishing is very smooth. The crown is well sized but selecting one of the three adjustment positions requires a secure hand, the steps are very close to each other and the ‘click’ is not very noticable. I guess that comes with the Miyota calibre.
I haven’t figured out how to post multiple pictures with this post so keep an eye out for my WRUW posts because I am sure you’ll be seeing this watch frequently on my wrist.
As a final note I want to say that this is just a fantastic forum with such a variety of people, all having the same crazy twist and a huge respect for each others opinions. Keep it up and warm greetings from the Netherlands!

- Warm blue colored dial with lots of detail
- True (traveling) GMT
- Case and dome fit perfectly and feel very smooth
- Leather strap is fine quality for this price level
- The metal of the back is not polished like the case.
- Adjustment with three crown positions with very small steps, you have to be very gentle to select the right adjustment
I’m fascinated by automatic movements since buying my first Tissot T-Lord Chronograph 30 years ago. Since then I bought an IWC Portugieser Chronograph and I’m now saving for an Omega Aqua Terra GMT.

Welcome! Excellent watch! I feel like German watches tend to be overlooked but in general I prefer them over Swiss. Have fun collecting!
