AD update for 126610LN. 1.0
Taking my wife with me to the AD just cost me a little bit. While I was looking at Rolex my wife started wandering away and a few shinies had caught her eye.
She really had no intrest in watches even though I share my fascination of them with her. She described a gold bangle she liked and I made note of it.
Few days had passed and emailed my POC sales person and asked if it would appreciate me calling her for the purchase of the bangle before going thought their website to make a purchase. She hesitated a bit and did confirm she would appreciate me using her to make the purchase. I can tell she did not want to say but wanted the sale and I was able to take the hint. So, I then called the AD, asked for my sales person who put me on the list for my sub date and made the purchase of the bangle through her. After the purchase, i did put in a plug for me about my pending selection for my sub as I thanked her for the purchase of my wifes Christmas gift. She also said thank you to me and did say she would advocate for me when some sub dates come in.
I dont consider that cheating just taking every advantage of a purchase I was going to make anyway. I just used my experiences in sales that I have to maby move me to as close as I could to be top of mind. I did choose to pick up the bangle instead of fedexing it to me. I am 2 hr away from my AD, but think it will be a cool little trip.
We are about 2 months ish on the list so far. Will keep you updated of any changes or updates.
I mean if you were going to buy it anyway, then there’s really no harm..
