How and Where to Sell Your Watch?

Interested in learning how and where people have successfully sold one of their watches. I've used FB with mixed success, and I'm hoping that those more successful than I have a few tips to share.

Haven't sold any watches myself, but bought a couple through Chrono24, and the buying process seem pretty secure for both parts as far as i can see.

I’ve used Chrono24 and the Swedish version of eBay Blocket. I’ve had more luck on chrono24 but it does take a while.

As a long time member at WUS and TZ I have sold and bought watches on the forums many times. You do need to be an "established" member to do so.

Have tried a few venues both online and in traditional ADs in the past. For selling, the best experience for me is to trade in a watch at the AD for credit towards to a new purchase. Given the rapid rising prices of brand name new watches, the AD loves to take in good condition used time pieces in most cases, sadly for pricy watches many have become asset classes.

I can’t say enough good things about the community on WatchExchange on Reddit. Just like any other forum or site you have to know how to vet and filter but I’ve had tons of success buying and selling on there.

I also suggest using sites like WatchRecon and WatchCharts.

Chrono24 you just have wait a little.
