Great collection! The Citizen Garrison was one of my first watches and still one of my favorites for casual weekend wear.
Grand Seiko estimates 3 years on the battery. Grand Seiko quartz watches all have a sealed quartz movement with a claimed 50 year service life. The battery resides on the surface or outside of the sealed movement so very easy to replace without doing any harm. The bracelet is ok but does not have any micro adjustments instead making due with half links. Agree lume would be a nice addition.
Nice mod, as an owner of the Seiko SPRE53 (blue) I think you've created the Orient version of the Seiko SPRE55 (black)

Unpopular Opinion? Citizen make a much better introduction to the watch world than Seiko.
