In praise of Rado customer service.

I have my grandfathers watch, a rado Conway. I emailed rado to find out any more information about. Prompt and helpful, friendly and obliging, I cannot praise Chris from Rado enough. I think it’s good to spread good things when they happen. We get lots of 'company c is terribke' so here’s a bit of deserved praise.

And I should add I’m not a current customer. But I was treated like one. Which of course means when I’m ready to splash a couple of thousand on a watch I’ll be looking very closely at a Rado.

Take a closer at their Captain Cook, they are really nice watches!

Swatch group service in general is quite good and they have a very good service and warranty policy. I have had couple of Tissot sent back due to movement issues, they end up directing you to Swatch's service and it was pleasant overall.

The issue is dealing with the salesperson at your AD. Some maybe very knowledgeable and understand the problem easily while others it is a pain to deal with if they are not knowledgeable about the products they sell. I had completely two opposite experience with the salesperson when I had to send my Tissots, but the Swatch service center personnel are easy to deal with in general.

Hello everyone, I'm new to watches. I'm happy you got a good service experience with Rado. I plan to go back to Rado to service a vintage watch. However, I'm curious to the comments.

Do you mean that I can have my Rado watch restored by other brands like Swatch?

Rado is owned by the swatch group. So they’d at least point you in the right direction.
