Modern Aquastar watches - worthwhile?

Liking the look of their new Model 60 release as an affordable, summer-tastic, no frou-frou, highly capable skin diver...

However, here in the UK I can't get any hands-on experience before buying. I see a few of their models on WRUW but limited reviews or info on their reliability, customer service, etc.

Any Crunchers who can chime in on their experience with the brand in general or the Model 60 specifically?

Thanks for this. E&W did a thorough review. Sounds pretty good up to the point where they say the crown action is poor - and others report the same issue. I already have a diver with bad crown action (first gen Serica). Looks like Vulcain Skindiver is back at the top of the 'probable' pile...

This watch is beautiful but that price tag is steep. I’d live to pick it up if it was $400-$500 US. Oh well
