Q: How did you get into watch collecting?
I've always liked watches but really got into it after I had a friend when I started doing consulting who was into watches. That's when I bought my first "real" watch being an Omega Planet Ocean. All down hill after that, lol.
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
I had a Lorus Mickey Mouse watch as a kid that played music. Loved it. But the first watch I bought myself was a Seiko Kinetic two tone. It was my first introduction to automatic watches and not having a battery powered watch fascinated me.
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
By what you like no matter what others may think. Also take it slow at the beginning to make sure you really like what you buy.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
Tudor, AP, Rolex and always Omega
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
AP Royal Oak. Not sure if it's achievable but it's on the list for now.
