Newly โbornโ watch enthusiast. Latvian ๐ฑ๐ป living in Malta ๐ฒ๐น. Still figuring out my taste in watches. Iโm also into photography, tech & marketing.
Even though I always had some kind of watch on my wrist, I was never into collecting or watches in general.
The most recent type watch that I rocked (for the last 5-6 years) was some sort of smart โwatchโ. I love technology and therefore I became an early adaptor of so called โsmartwatchesโ as a โtoolโ gadget (and I still consider them as good digital tool wrist-wearable-gadgets/watches for tasks like fitness / health / sleep tracking and some other tasks within certain digital ecosystems).
Anywayโฆ
Around 3 month or so ago, my wife unintentionally made me realise that I came to a point in my life where I feel grown up enough to start wearing โproperโ watches. A few weeks later I found a good starting point watch and thatโs how my watch collection journey began.

Tissot Gentleman

Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Donโt buy impulsively. Make a wish list of your โlevel 1โ collection, research well, stay within the budget and get each watch from the list at the right time without deviation from the plan.
