I have a reverse buyer’s remorse story. I bought a green Oris Aquis with the Sellita movement, because I had to send my couple of months old calibre 400 back to Switzerland ( under warranty), and it was going to be a 3 month turnaround. My buyers remorse ended the second the light hit it. Now as far as the cal 400 version? Haven’t got it back yet. Let’s hope that doesn’t become another entry on this thread (hopefully not) to be continued…

To my understanding, Orient is own by Epson Seiko, although they operate completely independent of each other. I have a deep fondness, and appreciation for Seiko. I even bought my girlfriend a Seiko today. But putting prices aside; My work beaters are Orients, Casios, and 1 Citizen. I just prefer everything about Orient over their big brother Seiko, but that boils down to my personal taste, and nothing more.

Very nice mod. I am in the process of modding my 3 Orient Kamasus. Just having trouble finding someone who doesn't want a week pay, for an hours work.
