So can anyone help me to find a reparable watch that was released in 1979 so this I can own a watch that is as old as I am, I have not had much luck when looking, so I thought I would ask for some help.
Novice collector, upto 10 pieces now, always looking for information and ideas for adding a new timepiece to my collection.

Hi Scooby, thanks for the link, I did a brief search, I’ll have to try a more thorough search soon, even if to get an idea of what I want, because I really don’t know, lol
Maybe Timex Marlin?
You can find these from 30-50 £ from ebay. Would not say reparable, and definitly risky but still interesting. Also made in Great Britain.
I also wanted a watch made in my birthyear and bought the watch in picture, not exactly my birthyear but close enough.

Hi, thanks for the reply, I fully understand what you are saying about reparable as I have heard they a really noise, and when damaged, not really worth repairing (disposable) if you will, but it could be an option
