Polished-up a gift from my boy when he was a youngster.
I think it’s universal that a gift from a loved one holds a wealth of intrinsic value despite what it cost. An uncontested example for me is this Chrome brand watch my son gifted me around 2010. I looked up this brand and these watches were only a few dollars at the time (though I’m sure it was still a lot for him).
As an eleven-year old, I think my boy had pretty good taste! Just look at how nicely it polished-up after a long sleep and a battery change! Even the bezel ratchets; and the dial exudes a glacier-blue burst. Now that’s something else!
