Complications/Dials > In-house movement

Do you guys prefer a good in-house movement or some crazy dials or even complications? IMHO, i do often not care about the movement. As long as it is...

Noo...missed it! 🥲But since you had it in hand...is it a good watch? May purchase it online....

Well, it is an older model, and i could get it under the retail of a new one...i see your point. Im also not a big fan of that waiting list game, and generally, im not like a rolex fan. Its just the Explorer line, wich i really like.

It is! It's on my list, maybe since i started this whole watch hobby. And i also appreciate my g-shocks as much as my more expensive watches. It is not the brand name speaking to me, its this particular watch.

Thanks for the advice man! I could afford it right now, without reaching the limits. I just dont wanna regret it...and i am 99.9% sure i wont. But maybe, i just need someone who tells me that i should do it😂🤷‍♂

Ha! That could be a whole other conversation. I think in two categories.

If im talking about "a" or "some" grails, i think about watches like the Explorer. Really special to me, but realistic in some way.

But if i think about "the" grail watches in my head, im talking about watches wich i absolutelly love and adore, but most likely will never be in my budget. Im talking about FP. Journes, Groenefeld, Tourbillion and Perpetual Calendar stuff.

Maybe you know what i mean :D

No, i do have the money. I sold my second car, wich i bought just for fun, and can use that. But i dont wanna make a mistake.

Dude! It is funny that you mention "closest family", because i am actually not sure, if MY brain says "no" or just my girlfriend. She really doesnt get it, why someone would spend this much money on a watch. She and also my Mother told me, that i should wait until i am older. But does it make more sense when i am older? It is still just a watch. And now i have the money, who knows, if i will have the money if i am 40 years old?
