GP Laureato and other browsing
Found one of the these at a price I couldn’t resist. Flew interstate to pick it up today. We don’t have many watch boutiques in my city so I took the chance to check out some cool stuff.
I’d been wanting to try on the new Zenith 2023 pilot in steel. It looked as good as I’d hoped in person. Definitely on the list.
The dark green Seamaster with the rubber strap was really cool. Also the white dial with black strap. I tried the Aqua Terra small seconds with the rose gold bezel. It wasn’t me.
Tried on some Rolexes for fun. Pepsi GMT, Bluesy and Panda Daytona. Panda was my favourite.
The one that really surprised me was the JLC Ultra Thin with the moon phase. I hadn’t ever looked into them but the salesman was keen on them. I tried a steel white dial with black strap which was really nice. Then tried the new gold one with stunning blue dial and blue strap. What a beauty. I didn’t think I could do gold after the Aqua Terra but this one was awesome. Then I saw the price……sigh. What a watch though.
