Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
When my grandfather passed away I was given his Bulova quartz piece. I stored it safely but didn’t think of it as I wasn’t in to watches but was thrilled to have something of my grandfathers. A couple years later my friend on here, Tony, got me to really appreciate watches. I bought a couple Orients and got my grandfathers Bulova fixed and sized for my wrist. Don’t really wear the Bulova but will always stay in my collection.
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Don’t just buy to buy. Buy pieces that speak to you. it doesn’t have to be some AMAZING expensive well-known brand. If you like it and it speaks to you then get it and wear it. Additionally, try to research the pieces you buy. try to buy brands that run well and have a good rep for quality.
