Hanhart ES 417 is their classic and is based on the "Bundeswehr Flieger" from the 50s. I also like their Preventor 9 model series and their new, more dressy Silva model. I think you can't go wrong with any Hanhart.
In one of the biggest German watch forums (i'm also member there) they discuss their skindiver re-issue a lot. Most of the owner (only a few) are very impressed by the look and quality in real life. One user also compared the Vulcain skin diver with his Oris 65 and say the Vulcain is higher in terms of fit an finish. What I doesn't like about Vulcain is their ownership and transparency. They were sold several times and change their management that often... it's also not really sure what they did in Le Locle (only their office? are they assembled all the watches there? Where are the parts come from?)
