That is nice!

Is the dial proper black or charcoal grey? I admit I was a bit surprised when I first got mine as the dial had looked black in the store pics.

That is Steinhart Ocean Vintage Military Mark II. 42 mm. ETA 2824. No date. Charcoal grey dial. Aged lume. 300m water resistance  
 

It‘s a pretty decent homage to the Rolex 5517 mil sub.

I hear you. Current prices are nuts. 
 

But there is something special about the SKX. I got my Sumo and Turtle long before I got my SKX. But ever since I got it I’ve been wearing it a lot more than the other two.
