Color Obsession and the Nerdy Watch Photo...

Watch shots. Lume shots. Most of us have been guilty of these before. They're a little self-indulgent, but for the right kind of nerd, they're pretty darn neat.

I've been obsessed with colors my whole life. Truly, never enough to do any actual studying or doing anything with it. It's just a strange compulsion for me.

I found an app today called "Color Harmony" that will pull the colors from any picture you take and allows you to make color palettes out of them. The neat thing for me, who isn't the most sartorially inclined, is that it also gives you the color codes for the colors in your photos, which is cool if you want to be able to recreate them elsewhere.

Nothing world -shattering here on a Saturday morning, folks. I'm sure there are plenty of apps that perform a similar function. It just might prove an interesting way to pass the time for you on some slow morning!

Great picture. Truly nature is more than the sum of it’s parts. Also, a good reminder to pick out paint samples at Home Depot 🤣

Coincidentally I used an online colour lookup to see the variation of my Pogue Dial. Lightening Yellow through to Kenyan Copper apparently.
