Purchased my first “big boy” watch back in 1997, but have only just recently in the last 2 years been bitten by the bug in a serious way.
I thoroughly enjoy the process of research and understanding the history of each design and brand and am finally in a financial position where I can enjoy the hobby.

I travel with my G-shock and Longines Zulu Time GMT. I find the Zulu time to be versatile for daily wear and swimming /snorkeling and even dresses up nicely. I wear the G-Shock if I’m doing something a little more robust or if I’ll be in sketchy areas. I personally leave the Datejust at home. It’s insured, but way easier to replace the Longines and G-Shock.
