Q: How did you get into watch collecting?
In 2021, Citizen showed off a Star Wars collection of Analog Digital Temperature Watches. I'm into Analog Digital and a hardcore Star Wars fan. I decided to collect them all.
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
The first watch I actually owned was a 1997 Casio Baby G as a young teen.
Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?
Not exactly, I just getting into watches now after letting go of the Apple Watch. No story behind it yet.
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Buy the watches you like, not what others have. It does not matter the quality, value, and hype. Go with what your eyes caught on.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
I was into G-Shock growing up but never got to own one of them. Then Casio has been great with the watches I found off Amazon. Lately, Citizen has been getting my attention because of the Star Wars Collection.
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
The Grail watch will be the Citizen x Star Wars C3PO Ana-Digi Temp watch. This watch was sold out back in 2021. I started hunting this year 2023, 2 years late. There is a list of C3PO watches on eBay, but I do not think they are authentic since it was in different packaging. Until recently, I found one post up for auction from within the US. It has the original packaging with the original receipt from Citizen. I won the auction. It was a relief. The next hunt will be BB-8 and StormTrooper will be next!
