Hi Paul,
I live under an hour from Geneva (in Annecy). I'd be interested in the meet up.
I visited the last one and found it a bit OTT. But Time to Watches was running simultaneously and was a much more casual and relaxed affair with smaller makers ready to chat.
Kind regards
Cormac
Thanks. The two screws are kind of my signature. They hold the dial to the movement. I rather have them integrated as a feature that hid them as hidden dial feet. To me they are the link between the watchmaker and watch designer and are a detail to celebrate, also their asymmetry throws up welcome challenges to keep busy!
Thanks very much Kevin,
We're not doing events much beyond our region in the French Alps and Geneva right now, it's early days. But it's true that people react very well to the watches in person and on the wrist, maybe we'll find a US distributor or stockist!
Best place now is instagram; @the47ZERO. But We have some upcoming events booked: December in Annecy and we are really going to try and stretch the budget for a stand at Time-to-Watches in Geneva in spring '24. It is a wonderful enthusiast event which runs at the same time as Watches and Wonders, two very different vibes: W&W being 'loadsa money' and 'VIP areas' complete with red velvet ropes 😂, Time-to-watches for brands where you are often chatting direct with the designers and makers who are of course fellow enthusiasts.
