Do you dive with your dive watch?

I always see posts of people taking their Omega Seamaster 300m/ Rolex Submariner/ insert dive watch here into shallow waters. But I'm curious how many of us actually use Dive watches for Scuba Diving....

Rolex's are great watches and sit in a great bracket if you can get one for retail. that said, the memories you make already far outweight having a watch sitting on your wrist. The tudor is a nice little bonus.

Broke it on the kitchen Countertop. wasn't even a hard hit.

I'm assuming they get around this because the wording they used was that I needed to give them a 100% deposit. So 2 weeks later when I went to pick the datejust up was the actual day of the sale.

I recently picked up a new datejust from my AD and their policy as supposedly given by Rolex themselves was that after paying the full amount for the watch, it had to sit in their store for other customers to try on for 2 weeks. only after 2 weeks was I able to go in and actually take it home with me. So it does explain why all of a sudden there are so many watches available to try on, and desirable models at that. It just sucks for the buyers to have to wait an extra 2 weeks and potentially have someone mishandle your watch.

Glad they changed the hands from the condom hands on the u50 to sword hands. Still can't justify the price, it's almost impossible to land a discount where I am and there are so many more desirable pieces at this price point.

I would have to disagree with you on this. I think that in some of the examples provided especially the zenith pilot, the subdials are laughably disproportionately small. It's a lot easier to just increase the case size whilst keeping the same movement and fill in the empty space with large arabic numerals.

The caveat to this obviously is some of the examples just omit numerals instad of cutting them off.

I think some of the examples of cut off numerals are passable i.e. the archimede is fine, but I will agree that the A.Lange & Sohne Saxonia is quite bad.

Ultimately my opinion is that it comes down to the execution of each piece and that I can't blatently state that all subdials that cut off numerals are a design mistake equally as much as I can state that all subdials that don't cut off numerals are the better design choice.

They're interesting complications but FPJ's finishing is subpar for their price bracket.
