I am a big Lorus fan , 3 of my 5 currents are Lorus, Im only starting out again and as we all know money is tight for a lot of people thesedays, for the price of a Dominos pizza or cheap bottle of blended Scotch , Lorus will give you a daily beater , easy to swap bands, 100m wr and mineral for less than £25 usually, whats not to like? I just ordered a watch repair kit and look forward to putting a new battery in my old Lorus that I had since 2004, great bang for buck watches IMO, Much better than Timex, Sekonda etc

Totally agree, as silly as it sounds there has to be some kind of "connection" , yes I know its an inanimate object . but when you look at it or put it on, it has to be seen and felt as an extension of your personality. This kind of logic is also why I wont wear sweet fragrances or grow a beard lol
Only recently in the last year did I get into watches again, now I have 5 . over the years I have probably owned another 3 or 4 , so nothing drastic, I think an Ideal amount for a gentlemans wardrobe would be between 8-12
