Omega Speedmaster Info

Ciao!

I saw this version of the Speedmaster in a boutique recently and whilst it’s not the classic Speedy I really like it however I can’t find much information about this model. I found a couple of sites that used to sell it and I think it’s from around 2002 but can any Omega expert out there tell me a bit more info about this watch as I’m considering purchasing it?

Cheers

Adam

Can't tell you anything about the watch other than it's a beauty!

It looks like it’s the Omega 3311.20.00.

From what I gather from the interweb, it’s 39mm case diameter (excluding crown and pushers), 14mm thick, 18K gold bezel, sapphire glass crystal. The movement looks like an integrated chronograph movement, as the pushers and crown are all aligned. The movement is probably based on the Valjoux 7750, so the rated power reserve should be around 48h.

Based on photos of the case back, being a press on case back, the rated water resistance should either be 30m or 50m (there were 2 ratings for such case backs).

Hope this helps!

That more than helps thanks a lot. Can now compare with others on the market and found versions with its steel/gold strap but think I prefer the leather strap for this model! Thank you

Hi mate, why’s that? Think I’ll check if the boutique still has it when I’m in next town. Class Cartier by the way!
