Q: How did you get into watch collecting?
My dad bought a Seiko auto chronograph back in the very early 70s, during a job trip to Japan. As a child born kn 1969, I thought this was the coolest modern thing, with the timing function and the vibrant blue dial. He notice my love for watches, and bought me a little blue Junghans. I was hooked from then on😉👍

Junghans kids watch - probably around 1974.
Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?

Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Its all about time - so take your time. Dont just shop to shop, spent serious time investigating, and then go in the direct, that YOU want to go. Dont worry about being able to sell it, buy the right watch and dont let it go. Buy it wear it and enjoy it.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
Im totally crazy with Guinands chronographs, which is taken nearly all my attention. Has been ongoing for 2-3 years, and it wont go away.
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
The Speedmaster Pro on black alligator. I was born in 1969, so you probably see one reason for my affection. But the main reason has got nothing to do with space travels, but about the stunning elegance of this watch. Especially when paired with the Omega alligator strap. I allready own such a watch, and used it as my daily wearer for several years.
