Excellent observation! I believe the original Nivada Grenchens and these Jennys were likely made in the same atelier.
I have a nice little collection of vintage NGs/Crotons and they are very similar including the 38mm case size. There are some other "brands" that also produced similar styled chronographs like Kaltron. Here is an example:
