My analog watches are autos but my GShock, Casio, and Suunto are obviously quartzes. I’d prefer my analogs be mechanical but I’m certainly open to a quartz if I want the watch badly enough and can’t get it in an auto or manual wind or the price is right or whatever.
I just ordered a leather NATO Zulu. I think it’ll look good and I like the idea of having a leather strap for the winter. I just hope it doesn’t make the watch sit too high since I couldn’t find a single pass model I liked
I didn’t even realize they offered these as a quartz. Seeing now there are more than twice as many of them as autos on eBay. You learn something new every day
I only had a layover there last week. Thankfully the weather didn’t impact my flight but I had friends and colleagues who got stuck there a week or two before. Stay warm.
