Question to Paneristi and Panerai expert..

Hi, am looking to get a Pam 384 ceramica all black.. This Pam comes with calibre 2002/3 .

As i know, calibre 2002 and its sub-series would comes with reset/zero second mechanism on time adjustment setting (crown position 2) and independent hour hand adjustment (on position 1)..

Would this particular Pam comes with the abv function? As i met a seller.. but the Pam didn’t reset/zero the second hand when the crown pull out to pos.2.

I just affraid on fake Pam..

Kindly advise..

I can't help because I don't know, but that's a cool Panerai. I think that's the first time I've seen an 8 day power reserve, seen a power reserve indicator like that on a Panerai, or heard of that seconds reset function on the crown.

Just FYI, Panerista is singular, Paneristi is plural.

I am not familiar with this particular model but assume position 2 stops the movement to set the time while position 1 should function as a GMT.

I have two 2002 series caliber movements. Both have the small second reset . Both have proven to be both accurate and reliable . Always buy the seller.

Yes, position 1 on calibre 2002 is to jump the hour by 1 hr increment without stopping the movement and also adjust the date (turning other direction).. Position 2 would stop / hack the movement to set the time…but as there are many variants on series 2002 movement.. whether calibre 2002/3 would reset the second..🤔
